Jury:
There are openings available for new artists in every category each year.
You may jury in as many as six categories. There is a $30 jury fee per category.
Your images will be juried by a panel of highly qualified artists and craftspeople, who are active in the art fair business and representative of various media.
Entries will be evaluated only on the basis of images submitted.  It is important these images be sharp, consistent and of professional quality.
Your description of your work, as submitted in the description of Materials and Technique, will be read to the jury as the images are being viewed.
The jury process is anonymous, so be sure that your images do not contain your name, business name, or people.
Once accepted, exhibitors will not be required to jury for the next two years, providing their work remains up to the standard of their images and no rule violations occur.
Exhibitors, called from the Wait List, are accepted for the current year only.

The annual Art Fair Off the Square and Winter Art Fair Off the Square  are the two juried fairs sponsored and produced by the Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople, Inc. (WAAC), a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation formed to promote and create contact between Wisconsin artists and craftspeople and the public. WAAC takes pride in having been created and operated by the artists themselves. Along with providing a market for exhibitors, we continue to educate the public about art and provide important one-to-one interaction between artist and buyer.

ONLY WISCONSIN RESIDENTS, 18 or older are eligible to exhibit WAAC Art Fairs. Refunds will not be issued to out-of-state applicants. Exhibitors will be asked at the time of check-in at the show to present a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.

The Art Fair Off the Square runs concurrently with the Art Fair on the Square. More than 200,000 people are expected to visit downtown Madison during this two-day celebration of visual art, which has become a highlight of the summer season. The Art Fair Off the Square will be comprised of approximately 130 artist spaces.
