A batik by the late Kae Taylor SPECIAL NOTICE Kae Taylor
Kae Taylor will be the first and last "Featured Artist" at the Wildflower Art Festival. The show is Saturday, August 8, from 9 until 4 in Veterans Park, downtown Brodhead, Wisconsin.  Ironically, it will be exactly one year since her death.  Her husband, Bud, will be there to sell her remaining work.  He found 17 of Kae's originals - both batik and colored pencil - in their basement, even though he thought and their daughters had been through everything several times.  Michele Benesh volunteered to mat and frame them, because Bud's bills are so high that he may lose their home. Evald Moulding Co., a wholesale picture frame company in Watertown, donated the frames.

Given Kae's friendship, always cheerful spirit, and her endless volunteerism for WAAC, we hope that Bud can sell a lot at this fair.  If you can help spread the word, we are certain that Bud would greatly appreciate it!
