Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople, Inc.

WAAC Mission Statement

The Objectives of The Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople, Inc. are:

To promote the visual arts by providing opportunities and support for Wisconsin artists and craftspeople.

To offer full cooperation among our members in an effort to cope with and help resolve problems and to address situations unique to artists and craftspeople.

To encourage and promote young artists and craftspeople.

The Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople has canceled the 31st annual Winter Art Fair Off the Square.

Our statewide arts organization board voted to cancel the popular holiday art fair after much discussion about the challenging and evolving impacts of COVID-19. The event was scheduled for November 14 and 15 at Monona Terrace Convention and Community Center. Canceling was a difficult choice for both our artists and patrons, but health and safety was the main concern.

There are no plans to reschedule this year, but we are looking forward to welcoming our patrons and artists to the Art Fair Off the Square July 10 and 11, 2021 and the Winter Art Fair Off the Square November 13 and 14, 2021. Although artists will be receiving full booth fees refunds, they lose the opportunity to sell to art buyers who support Wisconsin artists and buy local each year at this show.

The application process for both the Art Fair Off the Square and the Winter Art Fair Off the Square is closed. We do not accept late applicants. If you would like to be added to the mailing list to be notified when applications become available for next year’s shows email wiartcraft@gmail.com.
