WAAC is happy to feature the work of Madison artist, Linda Day, on the 2007 Art Fair OFF the Square poster and t-shirt. Linda is a potter, cartoonist and illustrator. From her first ceramics class in college in the 1970s, she was "hooked on clay" and over the years her work has evolved from the earthy tones of highfired stoneware to the lively colors and playful images in her pieces today.

Linda draws and paints her characters on bisque-fired, hand-built and wheel-thrown white earthenware. She exhibits her art throughout the Midwest and has won numerous awards.
